For safety reasons, Falls Creek Road will be closed to thru traffic beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22nd between Whispering Springs Rd and Three Mile Knob Rd while work is being done. Other areas in the neighborhood may be addressed as time and resources permit.

We will be doing tree and brush removal along the roads of Falls Creek development on that day and would love it if you joined us. We will need people to trim branches, help haul brush to the chipper, and to direct traffic at both closure points. If you are interested in helping out for all or part of the time, please contact Wayne Hardy.

As of the August 2012 Annual Meeting, Lee Orchanian resigned as President of Falls Creek Property Owners Association (FCPOA). Many thanks go out to Lee for his 15 years of service as a board member. Michael Bouchelle was nominated and elected to serve on the Board of Directors at the same meeting.

The Board of Directors met in August to discussed nominations for the President position. Wayne Hardy was nominated, and unanimously approved to become the new President for the term August 2012 to August 2014. Wayne’s change in office left a vacancy in the Vice President position. Michael Bouchelle accepted nomination, and was unanimously elected as Vice President for the term August 2012 to August 2014.

The Falls Creek Property Owners Association Annual Meeting will be held on August 4, 2012 at 10:30 am at the Williamson Creek Community Center. The agenda of the meeting will include the following.

• Treasurer’s Report
• Election of 2 Directors
• Clean up (set for September 15th from 9am; Rain date set for September 22nd)
• Website - continuance

All property owners are encouraged to attend. 

In the next week or so, we will be having some repairs done to culverts on Three Mile Knob to prevent faults to the roadway (see photos). The section near the speed bump on Three Mile Knob will be closed during the repairs. We will also be having some rock added along Falls Creek to prevent erosion to the bank and undercutting the road. We will post an update as soon as we have a more definitive date.
